End of Medicare Annual Enrollment Period

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is approaching. Midnight on December 7th is the last chance to submit changes to Medicare coverage to go into effect on January 1st 2026.

This year has been a record for our organization in terms of the number of people served. In order to accommodate as many clients as possible our office will be open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday Dec 6th.

If you can’t get help in the next week, don’t panic. If you have an existing plan it will continue automatically. Additionally, many people do not realize that if they have a Medicare Advantage plan, they can make one additional change to their coverage between January 1st, and March 31st each year. This period is like a do-over, and takes some of the pressure off the approaching Dec 7th deadline. HOWEVER, if you need to change your Part D drug plan, that needs to be completed before December 7th.
